In this three-part message from the 2025 And God Said conference at Lithgow Bible Church, Allan Moss explores the discipleship mandate. Jesus is building is church - what is our role? This question highlights the necessity to be engaged in relationship with Jesus and therefore fulfil our given mandate to be invovled in growth of His church.

Timothy and Titus are beautiful examples of what it means to follow Christ with complete sincerity and commitment, with their whole hearts. Through Paul’s discipling, their devotion wasn’t half-hearted—they were wholly committed, not just to Paul, but ultimately to God.

“Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, 15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”

-1 Timothy 3:14-15

In Genesis, we see many beginnings. We see the beginning of creation, of perfection and sin, of covenant love, and of God’s relationship with mankind. Through a study of Genesis, our walk with God may grow stronger in the knowledge of who He has always been.

In our current age of growing skepticism and increased hostility towards Christianity, it is more needed than ever to be able to provide a reason and defence for one’s faith.

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”

- 1 Peter 3:15

Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount is His description of the repentance and righteousness which belong to His kingdom. Jesus’ disciples are to be the salt and light on this earth as they obey Jesus teachings

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
